Tryin' to figure out if your father is serious about you being a causer of excessive stress.
It's funny (kind of) that he wants you to think about what you did and feel guilty.
Your dad is hysterical. But I never, ever want my mother to discover his voicemails, because otherwise I will be getting messages about how I am responsible for her full head of white hair (underneath the blonde dye).
He's just being ridiculous. Since I was about 8 years old, he has been telling me and my brother that we were responsible for him losing his hair. I was a pretty well behaved kid. My brother was a TERROR and as a result, we fought constantly. But on my own, I was a quiet (friendless) neat little girl. I never even got dirty. I sat in my room and played with my Barbies or practiced my instruments. If anyone is responsible, it's my brother.
Michelle, he STILL asks about you. He's very upset that you're married - he thinks you're wasting your time. You should be out excavating and solving life's mysteries. He's disappointed in you.
His disappointment in Michelle made me snort. He is ridiculous! I LOVE HIM!

Tell him that his concern for me has probably caused him some of his hair loss (and then tell him I love him because his disappointment in me is freaking hilarious!!).

As your aunt and sister to your Dad, I can say he is joking. He is attempting to be funny. Similar to his call to you about me not having eyebrows, I think he left you 3 messages to let you know they were lost. I find him amusing and hope you do as well. He adores you and does nothing but praise you whenever we speak. Be kind to him. Aunt Dovey
